Free VMware Server announced

VMware have just announced a free version of their VMware server product line called … VMware Server!
I use the VMware Workstation product extensively for my work, and their other products, VMware GSX Server and ESX Server have looked nice, but have simply been too expensive for non-enterprise use.
Now, with a free version of their server product, virtualisation technology is now available for home users, small businesses and department-level servers.
VMware server runs on Windows or Linux server platforms, and can host many different flavours of Windows and Linux guest OS platforms.
