Unexpected Jab

Visited the travel doctor today to check on our immunisations and to give Andres some that he would need for the trip.

Turns out that our Typhoid immunisations only last 3 years, so our pre-2008 trip immunisations are no longer valid.

This meant an unexpected jab, but I’m okay with needles – I learned a long time ago to make sure I do not look while they prepare the needle or inject it!

Unfortunately, Andres has had a bit of a fever the past few days – turns out he had a middle-ear infection over the weekend and is now on antibiotics. We really need this cleared up before we fly!

So we’ve rescheduled a new appointment for him for next week – hopefully he is better by then.
