Mozilla Thunderbird v1.5 has been released.
I use Thunderbird for my personal POP email. I currently manage about 15 email addresses through Thunderbird (I have too many webmaster accounts and such !!). Thunderbird makes it all pretty easy to do.
New features I like in Thunderbird v1.5 are the much improved message filters management interface and the new filter options – and the folder picklist is soo much better than it was before. Of course, automated updates is a great step forwards (although I prefer to control the upgrade manually – so I’ve disabled the autoupdate, and just set it to notify me when there’s one available).
The automatic folder compacting is nice, and built in spell checking while you’re typing an email is useful too – although I need to get an Australian dictionary.
Overall, I’m very happy with the upgrade – it’s becoming a much more usable product all the time.
