From mozillazine.org:
Scott MacGregor writes “The Mozilla Foundation today released the Thunderbird 1.0 email client. Thunderbird includes an array of new features such as saved search folders, message grouping, comprehensive mail migration from other mail clients, and builtin RSS integration. The release comes on the heels of last month’s successful Firefox 1.0 launch.
“Builds are available from GetThunderbird.com or from the FTP server. Release notes are also available. Support is available in our Thunderbird Support Forum and you can discuss the release in the other Thunderbird Forums. Localized versions should start appearing in the next couple of days.”
