I have found a few limitations that I’m keen to have addressed in later versions, but in general it’s been fine. It basically does what I need it to do, it’s only really some “nice extras” that would be handy.
It’s the simple things like being able to strip an attachment from an email without deleting the email which would be kind of nice – some would say essential, but really it doesn’t stop you from reading and writing your email !.
That’s kind of the key I think… the current limitations of the product do not (in general) prevent you from reading or writing emails – the core functionality.
So I’m happy with it.
I’m just a bit annoyed that IBM are not going to be investing resources into development of it like they are with Mozilla browser – some lame excuse about having our own email clients that we need to devote support to :D

So how are you finding Thunderbird. I finally have some free time in an evening and am not playing a game. So I thought “I’ll install Thunderbird” and of course you’re running it.
