On my flight home from Perth today, we passed almost directly over Adelaide at around 35,000 feet and I got a pretty much unrestricted view of the SA coastline from around Port Lincoln all the way down to Robe – at the one time !
Visibility was excellent, and I could clearly see the Coorong, Murray mouth, Victor Harbour, Cape Jervis, Kangaroo Island, York Penninsula, and the southern-most suburbs of Adelaide.
Quite spectacular really – I’m kicking myself that I didn’t have my camera on me at the time.
