I’ve commented before on the stupidity of Qantas attempting to serve food on the flight from Sydney to Canberra (due to the short flight time).
Tonight just proved it. Completely full flight (I was on standby and was the last person assigned a boarding pass, so it was literally full). They only got about halfway through handing out their sandwich-water-and-chocolate “meals” before they announced that they needed to prepare the cabin for landing – so a good percentage of the people on board missed out (not that it was any great loss really).
Silly people.

Yeah but the refund would be sweet :) credit for one year of free travel anywhere in Australia
I would go apeshit and demand a refund! :)
