The 1st of May is a public holiday here in Colombia, so we weren’t able to finalise the copies of the sentencia and birth certificates, or get the passport for Nicol today.
Enrique organised for the American family staying at the hotel to visit the transportation museum in the morning, but we’ve already been there, so we decided to go shopping instead.
We headed back out to the Unico outlet mall, where we wandered around the other (larger) section we had missed last time. We stopped at the food court for lunch – McDonalds was actually a nice change from the standard meals at the hotel.
After lunch, we went back to a store we had found last time and bought a heap of Pocoyo merchandise for the kids. Nicol hasn’t seen Pocoyo yet, but given it is Andres’s favourite show, and it really is quite good, we’re expecting she probably will get into it once she is allowed to watch it in a couple of years.
We caught a taxi home mid-afternoon, spent rest of the day in the room, doing some washing, catching up on some stuff on the computer.
