Before I bought the piano, I asked one of the salespeople at Allans whether the HP107 came with a piano stool. She wasn’t sure, but thought it did.
When my piano arrived on Friday, there were two large boxes, one with the stand in it, and another with the piano keyboard itself. But no stool.
I was a little disappointed, but not really surprised. I have been using a chair from our dining table with a cushion on it for now – and I was going to go shopping at some stage to buy a suitable stool.
This morning, there was an unexpected buzz on the doorbell – a courier arrived to deliver another box (much smaller than the others), with large writing on the side “piano bench”. Funnily enough, it was rather obvious what it was.
We put it together (actually LJ wanted to assemble it – all that was needed was to bolt the four legs in place). It matches the piano perfectly – same mahogany grain finish, and has a nice padded seat, and the seat lifts up to reveal some storage space for music and such – very handy.
So the question has been answered – the HP107 does indeed come with a piano stool (bench) !! Yay.
I’ve had a lot of fun over the weekend playing around with the piano – it’s pretty obvious I need a lot more practice though, but it’s all starting to come back to me now, and I’m enjoying it a lot.
