Firefox 1 million downloads on day 1 !
From reports coming out of Mozilla, they achieved well over 1 million downloads of Firefox on day 1 of its availability. That’s pretty darn impressive in my opinion. Finally, after much anticipation, Firefox v1.0 is released. The website is very spammed at the moment – so don’t expect to get very far. Read the Press Release, download the files from GetFirefox.com or from the FTP server and release notes are also available. (via mozillaZine.org)

Wellington
Off to Wellington this morning – teaching a Lotus Workplace class to some customers and business partners over there. I like Wellington – has a lot of character … but the weather usually sucks. I’m hoping that this late in the year it will be a bit more pleasant than usual.
