Virtual channel groups in FeedDemon

My preferred RSS feed reader, FeedDemon has annoyed me for some time over a functional limitation that means you can’t automatically update channels in groups other than the one currently active. This is apparently a deliberate move on Nick’s part – and I’m sure his reasons are sound (but it’s still annoying).

I just discovered a tip from Nick that might actually get around this for me – Virtual channel groups (aka ‘groups as category bins’ paradigm)

I’ll have to play with this concept and see if I can make it work the way I want.
